*2022 stock.* Candor Chasma is the new electronic Italian duo of Corrado Altieri (Monosonik, Uncodified) and Simon Balestrazzi (T.A.C., Dream Weapon Ritual). The band name comes from outer space (Candor Chasma is one of the largest canyons in the Valles Marineris canyon system on Mars) and their debut album is a 5-part hallucinogenic voyage inside analogue whirls, multilayered textures made of tapes and white noise, psychedelic frequencies and cerebral ambient-noise. With the duo rewrites and revises old school industrial, creating contemporary hypnotic atmospheres and up to date power-electronics explosions yet making full reference to the experimental side of the grey area. For sure a project that will appeal to all the fans of good old-school sounds.
