Last copies. To celebrate the reissue of “Amazonia 6891”, we are offering a Soundohm exclusive special discounted bundle - coming in a dedicated tote bag - that includes the three Black Sweat double LP sets originally published by Sound Reporters on cassette in 1986, namely the following:
Walter Maioli, Fred Gales, Pit Piccinelli “Amazonia 6891” (2LP)
Fred Gales “Het Jakoba Prieel” (2LP)
Various Artists “Ethnoelectronics” (2LP)
It is worth mentioning that the copies of “Amazonia 6891” which are part of this bundle are housed in a cover which matches the colour scheme of the first pressing.
A distillation of a vast universe of creativity, formed by the utopian optimism of the avant-garde, the pioneering label Sound Reporters has very few peers - ordered chaos and vision at its best. Like nearly every cassette issued by Sound Reporters, these albums are absolutely seminal, but almost entirely neglected gems of their era. Some lost and unheard pieces in a puzzle that few knew existed.
