Among the releases of 1993 under the name Slaughter Productions, there is also Insanatorivm, a tape issued by Marco Corbelli under the name of Kranivm. This side project, conceived and completed in little more than a year, released other two tapes, Brighter The Edge Of Death and I - The Blood. This last one was finally reprinted in 1997 by the French label The Family Erzsebet with the title Chapter Blood, and a few tracks taken from the first two cassettes.
Insanatorivm and Brighter The Edge Of Death are pure minimalist death ambient/industrial, reminiscent of the Swedish Brighter Death Now. Devoted to the occult, both cassettes lead you through a dark and nihilistic spiral. The third tape, I - The Blood, is conceptually influenced by directors such as Amando De Ossorio, Jesus Franco and Ken Russell and by gothic and horror atmospheres.
A stunningly perverse fascination with sex, violence, and death crosses Kranivn and all the other projects of Marco Corbelli. A fascination that eventually, himself, would be swallowed up by.

I have personally turned Kranivm into Kranium, using the letter U instead of V - Kranium in Swedish means skull and the letter V in Latin replaces the letter U after 1300 AD - to emphasize Marco's love for the classic Swedish label Cold Meat Industry and Karmanik family.
A detail of The reward of cruelty was used as the third and final logo of Slaughter Productions.
