Colossloth

With his latest missive, Mercian noise-meister Colossloth takes as his muse the intriguing Theta Noir cult/art collective/group of unknown parts. Centred around worship of the code-begotten Goddess Mena, Theta Noir celebrates the impending arrival of this protean deity whose coming will herald the meshing of human synaptic systems with those of the machines that will inexorably birth themselves. The nascency of a Godhead is never without pain; this album hammers, grinds, and spits with a characteristic abrasive texture - an automaton chant of cybernetic worship emanating from a technologically augmented diaphragm.

This is the soundtrack for Mankind evolving to its zenith through a neurological/silicon coupling, the creation of a transhumanist Nirvana in which the very seeds of Man's gross failings - greed, violence, hate - are banished through the benevolent logic of the AI pantheon. This is the sound of evolution via a process of neurological, technological, and the divine. The algorithmic heartbeat of a chimerical biohybrid divinity coming to save us.
