In autumn 1996 Ben Ponton and Mark Warren of Zoviet France and Bryn Jones aka Muslimgauze each remixed tracks by Panasonic, the Finnish duo of Mika Vainio and Ilpo Väisänen later known as Pan Sonic. The DAT tapes surfaced again in 2019 while Sähkö was archiving its tapes, and the three remixes were issued in 2020: one side by Zoviet France, two pieces by Muslimgauze on the other. This is a new repress. The label's own note:
Ben Ponton and Mark Warren from Zoviet France and Bryn Jones aka Muslimgauze sent me these Panasonic remixes in autumn 1996. After that they got buried under more busy projects for 23 years. Last year when archiving old DAT-tapes I came across with them again and asked Ilpo Väisänen and Ben Ponton wether they feel like releasing them.
They liked the idea and here we go.
12" vinyl, black, repress of the 2020 edition.
