The collaborative LP featuring Andrés Lewin-Richter and Josep Maria Mestres Quadreny is a highly regarded work of Spanish electroacoustic and contemporary percussion music. The LP, titled Tinell / Concert Equinoccial / Tocatina, showcases works by both composers performed by Xavier Joaquín and Percussions De Barcelona. The electroacoustic tapes for the recordings were produced at the Laboratori de Música Electroacústica Phonos, a pioneering studio founded by Lewin-Richter, Mestres Quadreny, and Lluís Callejo in 1974.
