Very rare first edition of the wonderful 1978 album self-released by the Belgian composer on his own Editions Walrus label with his very personal piano music here incorporating tape loops, field recordings, synthesizers, organ, percussion, and early electronic drones. Except for a 1979 second edition, never re-issued on either CD or LP.

condition (record/cover): EX+ / EX (minimal yellowing on front and minimal ring wear on back)

A 1978 album by the Belgian composer and pianist Dominique Lawalrée, issued on his own Editions Walrus label. Short piano pieces sit next to tape loops, organ, synthesizer drones and recordings of everyday sounds, and titles such as Waiting For The Bus or K7 Music point to the casual, domestic way the material was gathered.

The piano writing is simple and repetitive, with a debt to Satie that the track Musique Satieerique admits openly, and the B side runs eight brief pieces into one another like pages from a notebook. The record has the private, home-made quality of much Belgian experimental music of the period. First edition.
