Tip Tip Tip! 200 copies only. In Danilo Ligato's own words, "The Vurga, in my childhood memory, was a vast basin for collecting rainwater, similar in size to an Olympic swimming pool. It was the sole water source for my grandmother's large vegetable garden in late 1980s Calabria. It was an enchanted world, with vegetables of dazzling colors never seen before, in an arid land traversed by dark, dense water that seemed to vanish as if by magic in that desert landscape. Amongst the memories of my summers in Calabria, that of the basin is particularly vivid. It was built of weathered concrete, with encroaching wild nature all around. In front of that smooth and dense surface, which would sometimes ripple for mysterious reasons, I stood transfixed and hypnotized. Even today, it is a memory that captivates me and has influenced the improvisations that led to the creation of this album. That ever-changing surface was my Aleph, my gateway to imaginary, fantastical, peaceful, but also unsettling worlds, depending on the color, density, and movements of the water.

Leaning over the basin, it seemed as though I could hear the noise of the world, a deep rumble in constant flux, composed of countless sonic signals, from high-pitched to deep. It was as if I were listening to the sound of the Big Bang. The eleven tracks of the album are my intimate return to places and people immersed in intense light and magical cosmogony; eleven dives into the dense and mysterious waters of the past.
