Tangerine Dream

Tangerine Dream is a German electronic group founded in West Berlin in 1967 by Edgar Froese (1944-2015), who remained its only constant member until his death. The group moved from tape collage and free rock to long synthesizer and sequencer pieces in the 1970s. Tangerine Dream is best known for the Virgin albums Phaedra and Rubycon and for a long run of film scores that includes Sorcerer (1977).
