Tashi Dorji
Tashi Dorji is a guitarist and improviser born in Bhutan who has lived in Asheville, North Carolina, since 2000. His music is largely improvised, played solo or in small groups on acoustic and electric guitar, and it relies on altered tunings, preparations and decisions made in the moment. Dorji moved to the US to attend college and started releasing recordings in 2009. His first LP came out in 2014 on Hermit Hut, the label set up by Ben Chasny (Six Organs of Admittance).
