Angelo Bignamini and Cristiano Carosi met on the internet in 2017. They arrange a short tour together in the north of Italy at the end of the same year but play for the first time together in Piacenza some years later and "Audioregistratore" is the result of this live collaboration. In that occasion they improvise supported by magnetic tapes, sinthesizers and various objects. The result is a dynamic and well meshed divertissement, a multifaced recordings full of complicity and introspection, playfulness and experiments.
Cristiano Carosi (Rome, 1982) Human being(...), 1,78cm tall, 78 kilograms, musician, listener of acoustic events and inner landscapes, human, animal and object's languages. Particular attention is given to the field of sound events in the context of the human language and sound as vector of unexplainable meanings. Sound recorded and sampled, reassembled and combined into momentary languages, nomad spaces. Improvised with tape loops from field recordings, found sounds and synthesizers.
Angelo Bignamini (Lodi 1983) Musician and sound artist based in Lodi/Perugia. Part of the psych rock band The Great Saunites and active with several projects and in solo (Giacinto, Lucifer big band, Filtro, Billy Torello). In solo he studies the connections between music and error, with particular attention to the relationship between sound and its decay. His live performances are based mainly on the use of analogue instuments for real time manipulation of pre recorded materials. He's published his material for Ambient Noise Session, Lal Lal Lal, Falt, Hologram, Luce sia, Powdered Hearts, tape Safe, phograpiq., ManyfeetUnder Homemadelabel. He's the head behind the label Nausea.
