A cardboard box, some famed-not-so-famed faces, cut out of old glam magazines, ready-made for your very own career as a collagist. A tape, for an ancient tape player. A Late 7inch vinyl specially cut for intimate listening pleasure as a loop creator. The new Franz Aembient on Kashual Plastik brings all that distinctiveness an inimitable artwork should carry. Ahead, there is music. Harsh catchy stuff, for wake them up, all those who are asleep. Looking for ears that stand fear. Tripping through landscapes of unknown dances, inspiring through freedom of form, fostering the ‘avant’, without abusing the ‘garde’. Super fab locked grooves, unlocking the fools. Ever danced on metal, truly industrial, deep down in the drain? Here you get the chance. In the gentle parts, “Cut Up, Locked In” wants to love you. In the crude parts, it wants to misuse you. It all depends on how excited you are. To. To be. To be excited. Cut it in, lock it up, as all is just another loop in the cosmic drones.
