The sounds on Ile-Ife are made with tapes, mixer, feedback, and curiosity. Working with the physical qualities of recorded media and the unpredictable behavior of electronic feedback, Piercing creates a tactile and exploratory sound world in which texture, repetition, distortion, and chance become essential elements of the composition.
