*In process of stocking* "Piercing is my tape noise project and MOT is Paul van Trigt's. Paul is also a visual artist and colleague who has been responsible for making many AAD releases look good. We are a dream team and it was only a matter of time before we did something together showcasing our solo sound work.
Piercing's track is loosely based on traditional Egyptian funerary rituals..."Forbidden Wailing" is a reference to Egyptian women verbally expressing their grief and sadness during mourning, even though the men typically object to it. This is a sequel to a much longer composition, yet to be released, dealing with ancient Egyptian mummification rites.
MOT's side starts with a single rhythmic blown-out loop that builds up with high pitch tape squeal and reverberated junk metal echoes, growing into a multi-layered cacophony before sputtering out into indiscernible dialogue and background clank and clatter." - Branden AAD
