Tip! *In process of stocking* This is the first ever split tape release on AAD. I used to dislike split releases but I have learned to appreciate them with the right pairing, and that is definitely the case with this one, since both projects are from Norway and are frequent collaborative partners already...this tape finds them working separately but also together, each creating half of what is "No Vacancy!" as a whole. Side A is a "Harsh Jazz" assault from the Scandinavian duo Maranata, a two man army of relentless saxophone and abrasive electronics. Side B is a long form piece of rhythmic blown-out layers of crumble and scrape from world-renowned Harsh Noise luminary Lasse Marhaug.
