In process of stocking **Edition of 100** Recorded and assembled 2015-2020 by William Selman and mastered by Stephan Mathieu. Laguna Cibernetica is a psychogeographical map of the industrial maritime city. It wanders through the streets, stumbling its way through the glass-blowing factories, the office buildings of upper management, the canal-side cafes - all with the inescapable lapping sounds of the lagoon in earshot. It captures the psychic terrain as well as the acoustic - the unease and exploitation of workers on the shop floor, the moments of calm in the flowing current, the ambient dread of flowing capital. Laguna Cibernetica is a material and historical dérive through Northern Italian workers movements, from 1848 through the Biennio Rosso (1919-1920) and the Autunno Caldo, walking in the footsteps of radical composers like Luigi Nono and Bruno Maderna. It dives down into the lagoon to explore the watery network that weaves the city together - its connective tissue, its distributed maritime consciousness. Tensing and unwinding, ebbing and flowing, Laguna Cibernetica immerses the listener deep into the social fabric of the city and the constant stream of the sea.
La finestra socchiusa contiene un volto sopra il campo del mare. I capelli vaghi accompagnano il tenero ritmo del mare. - Cesare Pavese
