This collection of tracks grew out of a live score of Georges Méliès short films at the Philosophical Research Society in January 2024. Méliès films are bizarre and fantastical, at times delving into the macabre. But they are also comical, mischievous, and playful. It is this sense of playful mischief that guided Planet! in its gestation.

What happens when hallucinatory future-world terror is faced with a sense of antic absurdity? Put to music, it sounds more or less like this.
