New Noveta, the performance art group led by Keira Fox and Ellen Freed, has been described as ‘nothing if not new’ by Artsy and purveyors of ‘catastrophic distress’ by Mousse. Theirs is a project utilising all sensory, elaborately choreographed and costumed fourth-wall breaking performance art and sound, conveying contemporary hysteria: ‘intent on reproaching attitudes that otherwise pathologize ‘difference as illness’.’ (Frieze)

This release documents the group’s five years of artistic collaboration with Vindicatrix, ‘a rare musician whose audacity and ability equal his high-goth histrionics and aesthetic ambitions’ (The Wire). With previous releases on the Mordant Music label lauded by the late Mark Fisher, Vindicatrix has worked with a wide range of musicians and performers, including Ho Tzy Hyen, Black To Comm and Shackleton. This album marks a much-anticipated return for the musician and producer.
