2025 stock This limited edition box set, released by the German label Vinyl on Demand, is a comprehensive anthology dedicated to the formative years of Val Denham, a pioneering English artist, musician, and transgender icon. The collection gathers rare and previously unreleased recordings from Denham’s early musical projects, spanning her influential work between 1981 and 1985. The box set includes material from several of Denham’s key projects:

  • The Death & Beauty Foundation: Founded in 1982, this UK group featured Val Denham alongside members such as Mike Wells, Nick Coombe, Stuart Jane, Elita Denham, and Antal Nemeth, with Denham and Oli Novadnieks as the most consistent members. Their sound blends experimental, post-punk, and avant-garde elements, reflecting Denham’s unique artistic vision.

  • Silverstar Amoeba: Another of Denham’s creative outlets, often featuring her long-time collaborator and guitarist Oli Novadnieks. This project is known for its experimental approach and live performances
