Second copy of the Cadillac double - the early David Murray documents move quickly whenever they surface, and London-period Murray is the vintage the deep collectors ask after first, usually before their coats are off. Here is the loft generation's most gifted tenor, barely into his twenties, playing concerts that already contain the whole career in embryo: the Ayler inheritance worn openly and joyfully, the swing-era warmth underneath keeping every experiment human-scaled, the appetite for risk that never left him across the following half century of constant recording. The British independent context adds its own flavor - Cadillac was a labor of love, and the love is audible in the care taken. For those tracking how the post-loft tenor language was actually built, night by night, document by document: primary sources like this one are the real syllabus.

Gatefold documentation, the genuine underground article, fresh copy. Same recommendation as its twin: move before the tenor players do.
