Materpiece!! The second album by French guitarist Richard Pinhas under his infamous Heldon moniker, was a groundbreaking album of its era, encompassing a wide variety of guitar work, Mellotron and analog synths that float with a delicacy he had never showcased in this type of volume. Released in 1975 on the Richard Pinhas owned imprint Disjuncta, Heldon’s Allez-Téia is an astonishing and gorgeous album, foreshadowing the type of music Pinhas he would further develope with future solo recordings and collaborations. The touring trio version of Heldon was considerably different then what you hear on Allez-Téia, falling into a more rock orientated world.

Taking a lot of influence from Germany’s Kosmiche movement with bands such as Popol Vuh, Cluster, Harmonia, Allez-Téia fuses genres in a translucent and non-formulated form. Energy, texture and color flow seamlessly into exotic states, enhanced by the lyrical and psychedelic guitar mastery and ambient backdrops of Pinhas. Earthly based tones meet space, converging for a spiritual statement unlike anything else before or after it. Super Viaduct is re-introducing Allez-Téia back into the world with a much needed vinyl repress this year.

"These dark ambient sounds make Allez Téia perhaps the most revolutionary release in Heldon’s influential catalogue, foreshadowing Pinhas’s incredible solo work for decades to come." Boomkat
