Pink vinyl edition of the 2015 first ever released on Monster Melodies of the beautiful 1973 experimental electronic soundtrack to the Henry Chapier film. With poster and card.

condition (record/cover): NM / NM

Pink vinyl. Poster and card included.

In 1973 Vangelis, just out of Aphrodite's Child and living in Paris, scored Amore, a film by the critic and director Henry Chapier set in a Venice imagined as a dying woman, and the music was never released; the film itself was barely seen until a DVD decades later. Monster Melodies found the July 1973 tapes and issued them in 2015, a half hour of music that sits between L'Apocalypse des animaux and the electronic albums to come: Venezia, Giudecca, Campo San Polo, atmospheric, mono, melancholy.

Whether the release was fully authorised has been argued about; that the music is good has not. Coloured vinyl, luxury sleeve with photographs, poster and postcard.
