Józef Skrzek's 1984 Moog score for Czas dojrzewania, the first Polish film about drug addiction, in its complete film running order for the first time, with all the session outtakes and the song Kogut sung by Janusz Hryniewicz.

The first Polish film about drug addiction. A difficult film, full of hard subjects, with equally demanding yet utterly absorbing music by Józef Skrzek: an intriguing concerto for analogue synthesizers and a whole spectrum of emotions. Complete on disc for the first time.

After SBB suspended activity, Skrzek entered the 1980s with a head full of unusual ideas. He played in a jazz and electronic duo with Tomasz Szukalski, performed in churches and played at the Planetarium in Chorzów. He also took up incidental music, writing for theatre as well as film. Above all, he explored the wide and intriguing possibilities of Moog synthesizers. His 1984 score for Czas dojrzewania is one more stop on these sonic experiments: the stifling atmosphere of the drug underworld is perfectly rendered in pulsing passages, lyrical themes and electronic patches of sound.

The music from Czas dojrzewania has been released before. This new edition presents the complete running order of the film material for the first time and gathers all the additional recordings made during the sessions, including the song Kogut, sung by Janusz Hryniewicz. Tracks 1 to 10 are the film score, tracks 11 to 20 the bonus recordings. Skrzek plays Minimoog, Polymoog, Micromoog, Sonicsixmoog and Roland TR-606; Hryniewicz sings and plays guitar on Kogut (Kogucik przed dyskoteką).
