Amon Düül

Dive back into the primal heart of Krautrock with Amon Düül's "Experimente", a stunning collection of rare and obscure live material excavated from the same incendiary late '60s sessions that birthed their legendary debut Psychedelic Underground. This previously unreleased treasure captures the band's unbridled spontaneity, delivering a sonic assault that's as hypnotic as it is feral.

Amon Düül's jam sessions on Experimente are pure, unfiltered ritual – predominantly instrumental eruptions dominated by repetitive, tribal, and savage acoustic percussive pulses. Fuzzy psych guitar rhythms and leads weave through the chaos, creating a relentless groove that transports listeners to the edge of consciousness. It's a musical trip engineered to freak you out, echoing the commune-born experimentation that defined the band's revolutionary sound.

"This is Amon Düül at their most visceral,". "These tapes sat in the archives for decades, preserving the raw electricity of their Munich sessions. Fans of early Can, Ash Ra Tempel, or the birth of krautrock will lose their minds over this."
