The first catalogue of John Cage's works, published in New York in 1962 by Henmar Press, the imprint of C.F. Peters, which had become his publisher in 1960. It lists the scores available at that date, from the early percussion and prepared piano pieces to the indeterminate works of the 1950s, with a chronology, a bibliography and a discography.
The catalogue was compiled by Robert Dunn, who had attended Cage's composition class at the New School, and includes a conversation between Cage and the composer Roger Reynolds, one of the first extended interviews he gave. Reproductions of pages from the scores show some of his unusual notations.
