Antoine Alcaraz is a French electroacoustic composer based in Paris whose work lies at the intersection of acousmatic composition, performance, and experimental sound practices. He specialized in electroacoustic composition in 2019 at the CRR de Paris, studying notably with Denis Dufour, and developed a compositional style informed by dialogue with poetry, the visual arts, and imagery. In 2024, he composed “Près de Nous,” an audiovisual piece adapted from a text by Virginia Woolf. Since September 2025, he's been an associate artist at La Muse en Circuit (CNCM), where he researches the connections between education and artistic creation.

At the same time, he has developed a practice as a turntablist, using vinyl as a performance instrument. He is currently working on a live version of his piece dedicated to Erik Satie, commissioned by the Malakoff Conservatory for the composer’s centennial, centered on this approach. For this occasion, he is collaborating with Meta-Sillon on the release of vinyl records dedicated to electroacoustic improvisation. He is a member of the duo Imvisage with Théo Fernandez, a project blending experimental music and electronic aesthetics, which has been featured at Sonic Acts and the Hors-Sol festival, among others. He is also co-artistic director of the Franco-Dutch label Plor.
