Aphex Twin, whose real name is Richard D. James, today confirmed a special reissue to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Selected Ambient Works Volume II was originally released 30 years ago in 1994 when Richard D. James was in his early 20’s. The Expanded Edition will be released on October 4th, 2024, in five new formats. Including all songs, on all formats for the first time, with the previously vinyl-only track #19 (out June 18th) alongside two additional tracks, officially released and on physical formats for the first time.

Rolling out on October 4th, the expanded version of Selected Ambient Works Volume II will release in all formats, including CD, vinyl and cassette, for the first time. The revamped album will include two new tracks, "th1 [evnslower]" and "Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev," as well as "#19," which had only been available on vinyl but is now out digitally.
