Brooklyn’s 577 Records is ecstatic to introduce you to a soaring trio making a name for itself in the global experimental community.  Their debut album, Siesta, delivers blissful, organized chaos bolstered by these artists' seemingly limitless imaginations.  Expect the unexpected.

Forged from a 2024 chance meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Wallace, Vazquez, and von Schultz project came together as quickly as it did naturally.  Their “big bang” moment of origination occurred at the suggestion of a mutual colleague.  Pianist Brooklynite Eli Wallace was in town on tour and met with local heroes, double bassist Pablo Vazquez and drummer Marcelo von Schultz, at Prez for their first-ever performance together.  Their chemistry was earth-shattering -- and the audience felt it.  In fact, their reaction lit the torch for the group's trailblazing steps forward.

Before they knew it, they were recording this debut album at Berlin’s iconic Kühlspot amidst a fourteen-show, fifteen-day tour across five European countries.  Some might say that is crazy, but we see it as superhuman.  Especially after hearing the results!  This whirlwind adventure solidified the professional relationship and friendship between Wallace, Vazquez, and von Schultz, which had an undeniably magical effect on their collaborations on stage and in recording.

The trio innovatively weaves together intricate rhythmic pockets, bombastic noisy layers, saccharine melodicism, and subtle spaces filled with instrumental overtones.  It is an entrancing dance that swirls between the collective’s whole and solo spotlights with grace and flawless spontaneity.  The atmosphere they produce encourages new expressions of creativity, not only from each member but also from their wholistic co-existence.  They are as much a complex, living ecosystem as they are a musical group.
Experience their invigorating sounds when Siesta drops on June 13, 2025. It will be available on CD and for digital download.
