2019 release ** "A sort of anthology that collects material recorded between 2006 and 2014. The album is titled, programmatically, The Bunker Years (2006-2014) and represents a bit of a "summa" of his art. Musically the album is wonderful: the settings are dense, magmatic and claustrophobic. It is a liquid, wavy and minimal sound that moves in electroacoustic and electronic territories. The initial “The Rule Of The Shadows” with its rumblings creates a bizarre and difficult to decipher acoustic dimension. The following “Maybe One Night In Rome” is very dark and reminded me of a seminal album like Stalker by Robert Rich and Lustmord. The clangs of “Obsolescence” transport us very close to an imminent Apocalypse. “Requiem For J. Baudrillard (And The Post Modern Age)” is probably the masterpiece of the album: a space “drone” manages to slowly create a sacred and mystical atmosphere. The buzzes of “Drowning In A Sea Of Memories” really manage to awaken ancestral memories buried in our unconscious as Carl Gustav Jung wrote. “Until The End Of All” closes with dark cosmic refractions from some temporal abyss beyond our comprehension."
