*2025 stock. 190 copies limited edition* "RedruM" published by Luce Sia and Show Me Your Wound, is the first album in which Becuzzi and Olla join forces to create six radical acoustic reinterpretations of as many murder ballads. Drawing on the centuries-old tradition of the song of Cain, the two provide their own personal interpretation in the balance between ancient folklore and contemporary experimentation.

With Becuzzi at singing and Olla at his (D) ronin (self-made chordophones-mollofoni), guitar and assorted objects, the ghosts of victims and executioners return to tell their stories steeped in blood and crazy passions. The informal approach of the sound flow, occasionally shaken by solemn percussive strokes, dialogues with the ghostly vocal narration, giving the whole depth and sinister tension. Thus parades a gallery of damned characters: the enigmatic "Black Dahlia", the murder-boy by chance in the shadow of the gallows of "I Hung My Head", the demon who whispers: "She expects a child from you. Kill her " in " Pretty Polly ", the murderous jealousy of the protagonist of " Love Henry ", " Thirteen " as the number of a dark destiny and the murderous envy of an older sister in "Two Sisters ".

Becuzzi writes about the murder ballads: “Cain is, at the same time, the first murderer in history and the founder of the first city. As if to say that murder is an inevitable effect of that collective agreement that we call civilization. Deciding to experience the tragedy through its representation, before the tragedy presents itself directly, is certainly a choice that denotes wisdom. On the other hand, those who prefer to evade these processes have no choice but to make their own pre-mortem experience - with their stomachs - by boarding a roller coaster of a funfair set up on the outskirts of consciousness”.
