Rhythm Kingz Of Bushel Finland

Rhythm Kingz made its first appearance in 1982 playing a couple of gigs in student parties. After hibernation of about 25 years the name was dug out again for naming a line-up which concentrates on blues-based improvization. All the songs on this CD are recorded in impro sessions in 2008: The principle has been that nothing is agreed about songs in advance but the songs have evolved from a tiny idea or a riff played by somebody, and all the other players have followed. Also the lyrics have beed created on a fly. In order to emphasis the simplicity of recording method also the gear has been kept very basic. E.g. the vocal mic has been built of an old tin can and the primary guitar amp is a modified tube amp from 1957 etc. No corrections or alternate takes have been made: only some noise has been reduced during the mix-up phase and basic effect like reverb has been added.
