Tzadik is proud to present a new solo piano CD by the legendary pianist and edu-cator Ran Blake. Now in his 90s, Ran has been associated with New England Conservatory since 1967 and is one of America’s greatest cultural treasures. Here he performs an eclectic program of jazz, folk, gospel, film noir, and Christmas Music in his inimitable deconstructuralist style. Produced by Ran’s longtime friend and colleague Hankus Netsky, “Voices” is a seductive and dreamy exploration of piano music at its most profound, and one of Ran’s greatest achievements.
