** Edition of 300 copies in silk-screened sleeve. ** Soibiast Anti-Culler was recorded in 1995 by the winterless north of New Zealand's Witcyst. Another monolithic skid mark serving of crackers plucked from the man's vast lifetime archive of sound making and beard. Witcyst makes his music with oceans of constant daily mutation. Machines get used upside down and back to front and inside out. Layers of string, tin foil and expired medicine are saved up to dazzle the eye. Parcels in the post come a…
** Edition of 380 copies with hand printed coffee front cover. ** A bizarre love triangle strung between the Baltimore noise scene, contemporary electronics and the New York jazz world, Instant Coffee play improvised music which spontaneously assembles itself into ‘song’ shapes that blossom, catch fire, explode and distort in ways that are unpredictable and disorienting.A trio comprised of Lisle Ellis, M. C., Schmidt and Jason Willett, the band members boast some unusually chequered pasts. Lisle…
Mostly known for his intense drone performances and as bass/guitarplayer for the ultrasonic noise trio MIR, Papiro seems to slip into a different persona when left unattended with a bunch of old Synthesizers and the privilege of overdub. The nine tracks show Papiro’s affinity for melodies and complex arrangements and will please followers of early seventies electronica like Walter Carlos (A Clockwork Orange), Cluster or Bruce Haack. The LP comes in a silkscreened glow-in-the-dark cover.
** Limited edition to 280 copies. ** A record of extreme Poetry and Sound. Arnulf Meifert was the first drummer in the legendary German group Faust (he is only present on "Faust", the first LP issued by Polydor). Later and for many years he was companion of vienna actionist Guenter Brus, whose 50th birthday was celebrated with the publication of the "Panishes Liederbuch" LP (the now mythical first LP issued by Die Taubnessel back in 1988). For the recordings of this new project Meifert met Kommi…
2007 release. François Dufrêne (1930-1982) is one of the leading artists from the post-War European and French art scene. He played a key role in many of the initiatives of Lettrism, Nouveau Réalisme and sound poetry. In François Dufrêne's oeuvre, art and poetry intersect in a reciprocal experimentation of the possibilities of transgression of their specific grammars. His oeuvre constitutes a singular example of this special relationship between art and language, which throughout the 20th centur…
Privately issued by the artist in collaboration with alga marghen, "Running and Chanting and Falling and Ranting" is quite a unique book presenting Charlemagne Palestine complete video production. “Body Music I” (1973) and “Body Music II” (1974) were Palestine’s first incursions into the video medium. They were followed, from 1974 until 1979, by a series of works that together form one of the seminal and most distintive bodies of conceptual, performance-driven video of that decade. As a co…

Very few are aware of the beginning of Maurizio Bianchi's adventures? Before starting the complex and compelling production of many records and tapes in the early eighties under the M.B. trademark, Maurizio Bianchi was documenting the new music scene writing essays and reviews for independent magazines. It was August 1979 in Milan, Italy and his sound was strengthening when he felt the time had come to prove his desire for something new. So he started his first solo project, under the name Sache…
Art edition, LP edition limited to 80 copies in cardboard box with stamp, also including the original 400-page-creative-book with the same title. A killer reading of José Luis Castillejo's TLALAATALA book by Fernando Millan, recorded in Madrid in 2001. Modern or advanced writing is a direct and independent medium, i.e. it realizes and gives presence to a set of relationships without the need of further dependence (as it happened till now in literature) on other media. Words, syllables, stories, …
2024 stock Straight from 1999 of the first recording of Alessandro Bosetti with german free jazz legend Peter Kowald. On Giuseppe Ielasi's label Fringes Recordings.

On this live show, two grand pianos provided through the good offices of the owner. This is the best situation for performing without interference …
Following on from the release of Jaroslav Kořán’s “Zahrada” and Richter Band’s “Smetana”, Infinite Expanse returns once more to the early 90s Czech alternative music scene with another set of transcendental acoustic new-age recordings. It comes in the form of “Bohemian Blue”, an album by a short-lived trio formed by Jaroslav Kořán in 1990 following his departure from Richter Band and tracing his next musical steps. At the same time, Jaroslav Kořán, a fiddlerophone and percussion player, left the…
From the London based imprint, Hegoa, comes one of the most beautiful and striking records we've heard all year, the Basque trio, Carcáscara’s second outing “II”. Issued in a very limited vinyl edition of 300 copies, its elegant arrangements of tonality, texture, and cascading arpeggiations and drones, sculpt a stunning, acoustic middle ground between a number of Spanish folk traditions, American primitivism, and musical minimalism. A likely strong contender for more than a few year-end lists.
*300 copies limited edition* Maths Balance Volumes follow up their acclaimed 2020 release A Year Closer with a further and sturdier bucket of songs scraped from the dust of being. Haunted, fragile and beautiful, this is music that explores the ghostly zones of its own creation. The loneliness and vulnerability that unfolds with the opening cut Stay lays the way for exploration of sound and song with simple melodic guitar and organ whilst the subsequent Janet’s Song weaves mirror elements alongsi…
Johannes Björk is a musician and literary critic based in Gothenburg. His music combines drones, pop melodies and field recordings to produce refined sketches rather than fully formed songs – resembling slowly refurnished interiors, rather than scenes with a clearly discernible subject. Originally released in a mini-edition of 12 copies for a show in Stockholm earlier on in the year, it is now presented in an expanded LP form with two tracks added in, and another two re-recorded.
Accompanied in…
Recorded on Hayman Island off the coast of Queensland, Australia, the paths of stranded strangers Ryko Kalinko (guitar & sampler) and Aemon Webb (vocals, guzheng & percussion) meet, creating an astonishing 3-part journey of deeply spiritual improvisations reflecting the beauty, isolation and nature of their vivid environment. There Are Many Moods Of Tropical Exultation carefully spends its 20+ minute track length conjuring a spell, bringing all dust in the room to settle. Smoke trails rise. Shad…
