Each side is named after a date: 29 Augustus 1970 runs twenty minutes, 4 September 1970 nineteen. The Dutch quartet of saxophonist Peter van der Locht and trumpeter Boy Raaymakers, with Robert Scholer on bass and Noel McGhie on drums, plays free jazz in two long continuous pieces.
The guest is Burton Greene, the American pianist of the ESP-Disk years, who was living in Europe by then. Raaymakers also plays bugle. Group-Music Productions released the LP in 1971 in a silk-screened gatefold sleeve; Raaymakers later spent years in the Willem Breuker Kollektief.
