bastille musique presents its thirty-seventh release »Betsy Jolas: Femme le soir« featuring world premiere recordings by Anssi Karttunen (violoncello) and Nicolas Hodges (piano). The double album combines Jolas’s complete works for violoncello and piano, spanning a period of five decades from 1972 to 2022. The WDR recordings are complemented by a 76-page trilingual booklet (EN, DE) with texts by Martina Seeber and an interview with the composer, two autograph pages, as well as a concertina-fold insert and a picture card with photos of the composer and the interpreters.
