Angel'in Heavy Syrup

First complete limited edition. Legendary girl psychedelic & progressive rock band, still internationally acclaimed, Angelin Heavy Syrup, respecting Doji Morita with two precious songs, on 7"! A four-piece female group from Osaka, reputed to be the pinnacle of Japanese neo-psychedelic music. The band's world is a fragile yet beautiful one-of-a-kind blend of prog rock, psychedelic elements and clear vocals that resonate with a sense of melancholy. It is said that their fastidious and highly pure music was only possible in the underground.
Jojo Hiroshige’s famed Alchemy Records is well known for releasing some of the most loved Japanoise releases from the likes of Hijokaidan, Merzbow and Masonna. The label also showcased some of the most exciting music coming out of the Kansai region from artists who didn’t necessarily fit in with its notorious noise. This limited edition 7 inch release from P-vine features two covers of the legendary psych-folk songwriter Doji Morita - a perfect pairing of Japanese melancholy and experimental fuzz.
