Kaori Suzuki

2018 release ** "Originally conceived for live context employing high volume playback and extended duration, Conduit pushes the parameters of musical composition and perception. Minimal in construction, applying high frequency staccatissimo that gradually turns in on itself, Kaori Suzuki's latest output delivers a striking twenty-six minutes of intoxicating computer music. A remarkable statement. Kaori Suzuki (b. Tokyo) is based out of Oakland, CA. Her musical works are concerned with our inner-sensory responses and transformative states, often emphasizing duration and dynamics through meticulous synthesis techniques. Her previous projects included handmade instruments through her building project, Magic Echo Music, and she currently involves resonant properties of transducer-driven objects and computer synthesis processes."
