Musician and sound artist Eric Wong, also based in Berlin, performs and composes using guitar and electronics. He studied psychology at the University of Minnesota, and audio production and engineering at the Institute of Production and Recording (both in the U.S.). He has releases on Wandelweiser Records (Germany), Creative Sources (Portugal), Inexhaustible Editions (Slovenia) and other labels.
The three tracks on this CD are duo performances by Tolimieri and Wong. Tolimieri played a grand piano, while Wong used Max/MSP and Bluetooth speakers. Per the title, the album's main concept is erasure. The duo pare away musical elements and create rather minimalistic performances. Each track has different fixed patterns that continue throughout. Simple, sedate piano and electronic sounds create a unique appeal.
