Die Stadt is very pleased to announce the release of a long time project, an LP by Carl Michael von Hausswolff. C.M. von Hausswolff is a prolific sound composer for almost 20 years now who lives and works in Stockholm/Sweden. He was the founder of now defunct Swedish label Radium and still is one of the two King's of Elgaland-Vargaland (together with fellow artist Leif Elggren). His works (also under the name PHAUSS in his early years) have been released on labels such as Touch, Sub Rosa, Fire, Table of the Elements/Edition. The entire piece on this vinyl only released is dedicated to the research of Friedrich Jürgenson, a Swedish artist and researcher who recorded 'The Voices Of The Dead' from the radio with his tape recorder (for further information on his works you may consult the CD From The Studio Of Audioscopic Research on Ash.
