2005 release ** Limited edition of 100 copies. Oversized cardboard sleeve. "The Echoes Of Thiiings is a work that is made up of compositions that span a very long period of time that reaches up to 2001, but the album is as homogeneous as ever. Suspended in mid-air on a faint borderline between the Autechrian glaciers of Amber and the Central European minimalism of Kompakt (Kaito, Ferenc, Closer Musik, etc.), the compositions of Sparkle In Grey float in a diaphanous, light melodism that moves serenely under the skin of the electronic beats. The occasional inserts of field recordings, such as the sound of the CD drawer that opens the entire album or the child calling his dad in When I’ll be A Child, increase the meditative trait of the music, as the sounds of National Geographic did in Boards of Canada. The Echo Of Things is a flirt with the melancholy of memories without being clung to it. A set of polaroids of times already lived, which ignite the memory and the inspiration of the imagination as happens in the second album, containing as many remixes of the songs from the first CD. Inevitably more varied and uncoordinated, Fadiiing Echoes launches into rougher territories such as the isolationism of Luca Sigurtà & Marco Aureggi and S.talker, the work of Nicola Ratti who dissolves the rhythmic reflections of Not Nervous in the shadows, the techno explosion of The Impossible Flower, the vaguely dub iridescence of Telepherique or even the dark ambient of Never Known and Norm, the name behind which Hue himself hides."
