Korm Plastics is proud to present the eigtheenth release in the Brombron series. Originally a co-production between Staalplaat and Extrapool, it is now hosted by co-curator Frans de Waard. In the year 2000 Frans de Waard and Extrapool started the Brombron project. Two or more musicians become artists in residence in Extrapool, an arts initiative in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, with a fully equipped sound recording studio. These artists can work in a certain amount of time on a collaborative project; a project they always wished to do, but didn't have the time or the equipment to realize.

For this new edition, recorded in the hot late summer, football crazy Netherlands of 2010, two old friends meet up. Al Margolis, best known since the mid 80s as If, Bwana and his early cassette label Sound Of Pig Music, and these days as a collaborator of Phill Niblock and his Pogus Music, shifted from experimental noise to modern composed music, in which elements from improvisation and computer editing plays a big role. Since the mid 80s he is friends with Adam Bohman. Bohman is an improviser pur sang, solo, as well as in the legendary Morphogenesis, and with his brother in The Bohman Brothers. Bohman plays a wide variety of objects (metal rods, springs, forks,) and violin as well as his own unique use of the voice. Together they produced an excellent disc of improvised music and sound poetry.
