Four 1970's sparse compositions for orchestra, ensembles and piano released on Wergo's great "Studio Reihe Neuer Musik" experimental music series in 1973. With insert (with notes by Peter Michael Hamel).

condition (record/cover): NM / NM Insert included. |  Wilhelm Killmayer (1927–2017) was a prominent German composer whose 1973 album Fin Al Punto / The Woods So Wilde / Schumann In Endenich / Paradies features a collection of his chamber works characterized by a radical reduction of means and an affinity for 19th-century traditions. The album contains the following four compositions: Fin al punto (1970): An orchestral work for string orchestra. The woods so wilde (1970): Subtitled Kammermusik No. 1, this piece is scored for flute, 3 percussionists, viola, and guitar.
Schumann in Endenich (1972): Subtitled Kammermusik No. 2, it is composed for piano, electric organ (or harmonium), and 5 percussionists. It reflects on Robert Schumann’s final years in a mental asylum. Paradies (1972): A work for piano four-hands.
