*Limited edition of 100* "Lʼebbrezza delle grandi profondità" is the outcome from the first collaboration between sonic artist Francesco Fonassi and producer Marta Salogni.
Recorded live at Spettro (Brescia, Italy) in September 2021 during a "tape maze" live performance, the ten tracks take us in a cinematic journey towards the oceanic forests explored and described by Jacques-Yves Cousteauʼs "The Silent Worldʼ"
The inebriation of being underwater is at the epicentre of a drifting sonic narrative where the listener is invited to get lost in. The pallet of sounds reflects both the marine landscapes and the altered state of mind that deep diving induces.
An exploration and a homage to a world where silence and wander reigns.

Francesco Fonassi (b. 1986, Italy) is a sonic artist, independent researcher, musician, sound designer/producer working in the field of sound based performances, transmission/transmedial art and experimental music.
His work, developed through actions, recordings, environmental configurations, radio transmissions, listening sessions, sculptural prototypes, installations and the creation of audiovisuals/sensory spaces, has been featured in institutions, museums, festivals and independent spaces in Europe, Asia and United States.

Marta Salogni (b. 1990, Italy) is an Italian-born, award-winning record producer, engineer and mixer working from her own Studio Zona in London. She has worked with esteemed artists such as Björk, Holly Herndon, Circuit des Yeux and Mica Levi amongst others. As well as operating behind the wide scenes of recorded music, she performs improvised and composed sets using tape machines as instruments, creating loops, feedback and echoes through the manipulation of both live and prepared sounds, using her collection of Revox, Ferrograph, Akai and Teac reels-to-reels. When collaborating with other artists, she processes their sounds live through her mazes of tape, weaving an intricate sonic tapestry, a reflection on time and memory, and a collaboration with magnetism.
