These duplications testify to period editorial strategies: the French market received local pressings with covers in French, the British market received identical content with adapted graphic design. For collectors, every variant counts; for listeners, content remains identical. Music doesn't change crossing the Channel, even if its packaging does.

La Voix De Son Maître guaranteed presence in French shops that the British label couldn't ensure. Buying records in 1965 meant relying on national catalogs, and whoever wanted Koechlin had to find him on local shelves. The major label system, for all its limitations, made such music available to audiences who would never attend a Domaine Musical concert.
