condition (record/cover): NM / NM | Eponymous 1972 Wergo release by German experimental composer Josef Anton Riedl, featuring key works from his career in electronic and concrete music. Polygonum (1968): An improvisational piece for two to four performers who select their own sound mediums based on rhythmic and dynamic structures. Nr. 3 (1966–67): Part of his numbered series of abstract sound compositions. Paper Music (1968/70): A piece utilizing the physical properties of paper as a sound source. Nr. 4/I (1968–69): A continuation of his structural explorations. Studien Für Elektronische Klänge II, I, IV (1959–62): These early "Studies for Electronic Sounds" were created during his tenure at the Siemens Studio for Electronic Music in Munich. Vielleicht-Duo (1963/70): A versatile work for speaking, breathing, and various sound objects like water and whistles.  Riedl was a pioneer in visible music, where the physical gestures of the performers and graphic scores are as vital as the audio output.
