The Hotel is proud to present its first release – Roots of Empathy, the debut album from London artist Henry Cyer. Written and recorded over the span of four years, the project manifests itself as an album of songs, a collection of photographs and a series of music videos. Roots of Empathy explores fear as an entity – both personal and impersonal, alien and familiar, real and dreamlike. 

The album pulls the listener into a mystical otherworld, where the self is dissolved and projected through a multitude of voices and perspectives. The Hotel presents it in a luxurious vinyl edition designed by Thomas Bush, complete with an LP-sized 8-page booklet, containing the photographs assigned to each song.
