Huerta Ensamble

Huerta Ensamble is a collaborative research project by Mexican artists Concepción Huerta and Daniela Huerta, dedicated to exploring sound through synthesis and magnetic tape experimentation. Their practice delves into tuning, electricity, spatiality, psychoacoustics, and the fundamental principles of sound, with live performances unfolding through improvisation and the dialogue unique to each setting.
The album, "S∞S", treats sound as a living organism — alive with resonance, vibration, and extrasensory communication. The infinity symbol reflects a reciprocal flow of energy: a continuous exchange of sonic forces, sympathetic vibration, and interconnected life, echoing the ouroboros and its eternal cycle. As transductive bodies, we channel these processes to generate synchronicity. Blending frequency contrasts, dissonant rhythms, and deep attunement, the project fuses voice, electronic textures, and industrial edges into a raw yet profound sonic landscape. “S∞S” is a gorgeously lush electronic symphony in two halves and multiple movements; a rendering of an immeasurable path across infinite synchronicity.

Concepción Huerta is a Mexican multimedia artist whose practice revolves around sound as material,  space, and memory. Her work spans immersive soundscapes, speculative field recordings, and installations that explore the relationship between listening, place, and emotional resonance. Concepción guides audiences through sonic journeys in which recordings, synthesis, and live manipulation intersect to evoke both intimate and expansive worlds — creating a conversation between noise, silence, and the spaces in between. 

Daniela Huerta is a Mexican (now Berlin-based) multimedia artist, composer, and researcher. Exploring the intersection of sound and consciousness, Huerta channels mythology and storytelling into a richly layered artistic practice that bridges the real and the imaginary, creating vivid landscapes that aim to connect with the depths of the human psyche. Her approach is equal parts raw and refined — a boundary-pushing exploration of sound as a narrative force.
