Two timbrally rich pieces composed in the early 1980's and beautifully performed by the Ensemble Modern conducted by Peter Eötvös, released on Deutsche Harmonia Mundi in 1985.
condition (record/cover): NM / NM | Gatefold sleeve. 1985 landmark recording by Ensemble Modern conducted by Peter Eötvös. Helmut Lachenmann: Mouvement (- vor der Erstarrung) (1982/84). A foundational work of "musique concrète instrumentale," it explores the mechanical and physical boundaries of sound production. Nicolaus A. Huber: Sechs Bagatellen (1981). Scored for chamber ensemble and tape, these pieces are characterized by their "sweetness and bitterness," featuring movements like "Tango" and "Romanze".
