An eagle, a bearded wood, pine cones, underground water... An outdoor studio, different every day. Steps to infuse the body with space. Something elementary that changes our metabolisms and focuses. Physical presence discovers living links with environments. With these sensory and emotional agreements, feel the supple, deep movement of a large whole. Encountering the rhythms of nature, in the range of its frequencies, soaking up this sound orchestration and taking part in this acoustic community. In contact with these natural spaces, our acts of perception shimmer like sensitive signals. An outdoor record that creates its own path, sensitive to the occasional links of a remarkable but not infinite diversity. Two musicians and a dancer strolled through the 3 regional nature parks of the Baronnies, Bauges and Vercors. They listened to the flow of water, to birds singing their presence in the world, to the sounds of the wind. Watching the plant and mineral structures dance in a hypnotic sway, their steps were attuned to this cosmophany.
Following a project carried out in spring 2021 between anthropologist Chiara Piai and Frank Micheletti (Cie Kubilai Khan investigations) on new itineraries and their social and artistic challenges within the Baronnies provençales, Massif des Bauges and Vercors Parks, the Fédération des parcs naturels régionaux de France, together with SACEM and the French Ministry of Culture, decided to extend the project by creating a musical work. In collaboration with composer Maria Rossi (Cucina Povera), and musician Emmanuel Rousseau, the Kubilai Khan investigations company returned to explore these 3 territories to deliver a work in situ.
