The 1974 debut by Biglietto per l'Inferno from Lecco, issued by Trident: dark, hard-hitting Italian prog with two keyboard players, flute and the theatrical voice of Claudio Canali, among the most sought-after records of the genre.

Biglietto per l'Inferno formed in Lecco in 1972 from the remains of two local beat groups. Their first album came out in 1974 on the small label Trident, produced by Maurizio Salvadori, and received good reviews but little distribution.

The sound rests on two keyboard players, Giuseppe Banfi and Giuseppe Cossa, set against Marco Mainetti's heavy guitar, Fausto Branchini's bass and Mauro Gnecchi's drums, with Claudio Canali on vocals and flute. The songs deal with anxiety, guilt and death, from the opening Ansia to Confessione and the long L'Amico Suicida, where organ, Moog and guitar trade dramatic, almost operatic passages. It is one of the darker and more aggressive records of 1970s Italian progressive rock.

A second album was recorded in 1975 but Trident went bankrupt before it could be released, and the group broke up soon after.

Japanese limited edition CD reissue by Belle Antique in a paper-sleeve mini LP replica with obi and Japanese insert, SHM-CD, digitally remastered in Japan.
